Righteousness: Be Confident

In our last post, we talked about Righteousness. We defined Righteousness as the ability to stand in the presence of the Father without the sense of guilt or inferiority as if sin never existed.

The blood of Jesus has made us Righteous! God’s plan for mankind is salvation and His Righteousness. The path to the Father has been made and it was procured by the blood of Jesus.

Proverb 14:12 says, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Mankind’s ways are not God’s ways. His ways are higher than our ways and beyond natural thought. The subject of Righteousness is way beyond man’s mind. When God commanded His light to be shown into darkness mankind could not comprehended it. Now with the mind of Christ we can comprehend God’s plan and be open to see His plan and follow it.

Understanding Righteousness is crucial in moving forward to the things God has for us. Through the Blood of Jesus we have been made Righteous! There is no way for us to make ourselves Righteous. Righteousness is only obtained from God, we have to believe we are Righteous, and that what is keeps us Righteous.

What is faith – A persuasion, a conviction, simply what we believe

How does faith come – By hearing and accepting as truth what we hear

How is faith released – Faith is released in words and in actions.

So you have heard that you are made Righteous and that it is by your faith. We must accept as truth what we hear and then release our faith! So that means not only do I need to hear, I need to accept as truth what I hear and then release my faith. Say it out loud if you need to. When you don’t feel righteous, you are. When we sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteou. When we ask for forgiveness according to 1 John 1:9, we are back in righteousness. Thank you Jesus!

Say it out loud if you have to! Thank God I am Righteous in the sight of God!
